Every year from 1964 going back to 1796 when US dimes were first minted each coin contained silver. It is not necessarily a date and mintmark combination raising dime coins to the scarce and valuable level, often it is grade. Collectors building dime collections are willing to pay higher prices as they encounter higher grade pieces.
1892 P-Mint 6-Coin Year Set with Morgan Dollar - SGS Certified Authentic
Here is a great Year Set of all the regular circulation coins from the Philadelphia (P) Mint for 1892. You'll get a 1892-P Indian Head Cent, 1892-P 'V' Nickel, 1892-P Barber Silver Dime, 1892-P Barber Silver Quarter, 1892-P Barber Silver Half Dollar, and 1892-P Morgan Silver Dollar. Each is slabbed, sealed and certified by SGS, and the set includes a COA. The Indian Head Cent was designed by James B. Longacre, and was made from 1859 to 1909. The Obverse was actually designed as a representation of Liberty wearing a Native American headdress, though it is often mistaken for an actual Indian. The Reverse features an Oak Wreath with a small shield. The Liberty Head, or "V", Nickel, was designed by Charles E. Barber, and was made from 1883 to 1912. The Obverse features Liberty, while the Reverse features the Roman Numeral "V" surrounded by a wreath. These nickels original did not have the word "CENTS" on the Reverse, but many were gold plated and passed off as $5 gold pieces (called Racketeer nickels). The word "CENTS" was added to the Reverse to discourage this fraudulent practice. The Barber Silver Dime, Silver Quarter, and Silver Half were all Designed by Charles E. Barber, and were made from 1892-1916, 1892-1916, and 1892-1915 respectively. The Obverse of each is very similar design of Liberty, on all three denominations. The Reverse of the dime has the words "ONE DIME" surrounded by a wreath. The Reverse of the quarter features an eagle with wings spread, below a field of stars. The Reverse of the half features the same eagle below a field of stars as the quarter. The Morgan Silver Dollar was designed by George T. Morgan, and was made from 1878 to 1921 (though it was not made for 1905 through 1920). It features Liberty on the Obverse, and an Eagle partially surrounded by a wreath on the Reverse. It is one of the most popular coins to collectors in all of American coinage.

1931-D Mercury Silver Dime SGS Certified Authentic
Here is a 1931-D "Mercury" Winged Liberty Head Silver Dime, Certified Authentic by SGS (Star Grading Services). These dimes are commonly called "Mercury" dimes, although the figure on the front is actually Liberty with a winged cap. They were made from 1916 to 1945, are 90% Silver, and were designed by Adolph A. Weinman.
